ARHUACA TRADITIONAL MUSIC WORKSHOP

Two great workshop musicians will accompany you in this learning process. Yeiner Arwawingumu Zapata Vallejo, a knowledgeable and expert musician of the Arhuaco People, and Juan Ignacio Arbaiza, who has been learning the music of the Arhuaco People for many years.

The workshop begins with the making of the instrument and ends with its performance. The instrument to be made is the Charu, the ancestral and traditional flute of the Arhuaco People. The event will take place in Tabio and is open to the general public.

The cost of the workshop includes lunch, snacks and the necessary elements for the manufacture of the instrument. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
